Olive oil trade show calendar: SIAL, Gulfood, Anuga, WOOE
In brief
Trade shows are the most cost-effective channel for meeting olive oil buyers: a few days are enough for dozens of qualified contacts. The six major dates are SIAL Paris (generalist, Tunisian CEPEX pavilion), Gulfood (Gulf/GAFTA), Anuga (generalist, biennial), WOOE Madrid (100% olive oil, bulk buyers), Fancy Food NY (specialty foods, United States) and Biofach (global organic). For a Tunisian exporter, costs are largely subsidised (FOPRODEX trade shows, Tasdir+). All the dates below are **approximate and to be verified ** with the organiser before any booking.

Funding your participation (Tunisian exporter)
Participating in a trade show is largely subsidised for a Tunisian exporter:
- FOPRODEX trade shows: partial coverage of costs (individual ~35–40%; collective up to 80%, capped).
- Tasdir+: up to 50% of prospecting/marketing expenses, cap ~$50,000.
- CEPEX collective pavilion: pooled stand (e.g. Tunisian SIAL pavilion), reduced cost and national visibility.
Details and conditions in the FOPRODEX export subsidies guide. Amounts and rates to be re-checked with CEPEX before any application.
