Extra virgin olive oil from Sfax for Brazilian importers, packers and private label brands, with an SGS analysis on every lot to secure the arrival test. We quote from €3.65/kg FOB Sfax for extra virgin in bulk, and give you a firm, dated price for your port.

Why Brazilian importers buy Tunisian olive oil

Brazil is one of the largest olive oil importers outside Europe, and the 0% duty on extra virgin favours origins that can prove the category on every lot. Tunisian extra virgin gives Brazilian packers a lab-backed lot at a competitive price.

Duties and taxes in Brazil

Since March 2025, extra virgin olive oil (NCM 1509.20.00) enters Brazil at 0% duty, while other categories pay 9% (figures from our Brazil market guide, to be re-checked before each order 🔴).

For the full import procedure, read our Brazil market guide.

Compliance: who does what

The importer must hold the MAPA olive oil importer licence (about 120 days to obtain) and every lot is analysed on arrival by a laboratory listed with SISCOLE. A lot downgraded from extra virgin to virgin loses the 0% duty. That is why we only ship a lot whose SGS report already meets the extra virgin limits, and we send it to you before loading.

Frequently asked questions

Do you supply olive oil importers in Brazil?

Yes. Zitouna Export ships Tunisian extra virgin olive oil to importers, distributors, packers and private label brands in Brazil, in bulk and in packed formats, from Sfax or Radès to Santos and the other main ports.

What is the price of Tunisian olive oil for Brazil?

Extra virgin in bulk starts from €3.65/kg FOB Sfax. The firm price depends on the grade, the format, the volume and the incoterm. Request a dated quote with your port: we answer with a price per kg or per unit and the current lot analysis.

What is the minimum order?

In bulk we start from one 200 L drum, then IBC (1,000 L) and flexitank (about 21.5 t). In packed goods there is no fixed minimum, but each shipment carries fixed export costs, so a full or shared pallet load gives the best price per unit.

Which formats do you ship to Brazil?

Bulk in drums, IBC and flexitank; tins from 1 L to 20 kg; glass bottles from 250 ml to 1 L. Any other size can be made to order.

Which documents come with each shipment?

Commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin, certificate of analysis per lot, health certificate and bill of lading, plus the market-specific documents listed on this page.

What import duty applies in Brazil?

Since March 2025, extra virgin olive oil (NCM 1509.20.00) enters Brazil at 0% duty, while other categories pay 9% (figures from our Brazil market guide, to be re-checked before each order 🔴).

Who handles registration and labelling in Brazil?

The importer must hold the MAPA olive oil importer licence (about 120 days to obtain) and every lot is analysed on arrival by a laboratory listed with SISCOLE. A lot downgraded from extra virgin to virgin loses the 0% duty. That is why we only ship a lot whose SGS report already meets the extra virgin limits, and we send it to you before loading.

Do you pack under my brand?

Yes. We fill bottles or tins with your label from a design you provide, or we build the label file with your text. You approve the lot on its lab report first.

Do you supply organic olive oil?

Yes. Our organic extra virgin is certified USDA NOP and EU organic by Ecocert. Ask for it in your quote request.

How do you prove the quality of each lot?

Every lot is analysed by SGS (acidity, peroxides, UV absorbance, sensory panel). We send the report with the quote, before you commit.

Can I get a sample?

Yes. You can order a sample from the current lot on our sample page, or validate the lot on its SGS report.

Which incoterms do you quote?

FOB Sfax by default, and CFR, CIF to your port on request. Freight is quoted at booking.

Will your oil pass the MAPA arrival analysis in Brazil?

We ship lots whose SGS report already meets the extra virgin limits and send you the report before loading. The arrival analysis is done in Brazil by a SISCOLE laboratory; a clean origin report is the best way to avoid a downgrade.
