Extra virgin olive oil from Sfax for Korean retail, foodservice and OEM brands, with an SGS analysis on every lot. We quote from €3.65/kg FOB Sfax for extra virgin in bulk, and give you a firm, dated price for your port.
Why Korean importers buy Tunisian olive oil
Korean shoppers already know Tunisian extra virgin from large retail chains. For an importer, Tunisia offers extra virgin with a clean lab profile at a price that leaves room for a premium Korean brand.
Duties and taxes in Korea
Tunisia has no trade agreement with South Korea, so olive oil pays the MFN duty, around 8% (figure from our Korea market guide, to be re-checked before each order 🔴). The certificate of origin is the standard one.
For the full import procedure, read our Korea market guide.
Compliance: who does what
The Korean importer handles the import food declaration and labelling in Korean. We provide the lot analysis, the certificate of origin and, for OEM, a label file built from your Korean text.
Frequently asked questions
Do you supply olive oil importers in South Korea?
Yes. Zitouna Export ships Tunisian extra virgin olive oil to importers, distributors, packers and private label brands in South Korea, in bulk and in packed formats, from Sfax or Radès to Busan and the other main ports.
What is the price of Tunisian olive oil for Korea?
Extra virgin in bulk starts from €3.65/kg FOB Sfax. The firm price depends on the grade, the format, the volume and the incoterm. Request a dated quote with your port: we answer with a price per kg or per unit and the current lot analysis.
What is the minimum order?
In bulk we start from one 200 L drum, then IBC (1,000 L) and flexitank (about 21.5 t). In packed goods there is no fixed minimum, but each shipment carries fixed export costs, so a full or shared pallet load gives the best price per unit.
Which formats do you ship to Korea?
Bulk in drums, IBC and flexitank; tins from 1 L to 20 kg; glass bottles from 250 ml to 1 L. Any other size can be made to order.
Which documents come with each shipment?
Commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin, certificate of analysis per lot, health certificate and bill of lading, plus the market-specific documents listed on this page.
What import duty applies in Korea?
Tunisia has no trade agreement with South Korea, so olive oil pays the MFN duty, around 8% (figure from our Korea market guide, to be re-checked before each order 🔴). The certificate of origin is the standard one.
Who handles registration and labelling in Korea?
The Korean importer handles the import food declaration and labelling in Korean. We provide the lot analysis, the certificate of origin and, for OEM, a label file built from your Korean text.
Do you pack under my brand?
Yes. We fill bottles or tins with your label from a design you provide, or we build the label file with your text. You approve the lot on its lab report first.
Do you supply organic olive oil?
Yes. Our organic extra virgin is certified USDA NOP and EU organic by Ecocert. Ask for it in your quote request.
How do you prove the quality of each lot?
Every lot is analysed by SGS (acidity, peroxides, UV absorbance, sensory panel). We send the report with the quote, before you commit.
Can I get a sample?
Yes. You can order a sample from the current lot on our sample page, or validate the lot on its SGS report.
Which incoterms do you quote?
FOB Sfax by default, and CFR, CIF to your port on request. Freight is quoted at booking.
Can you produce OEM olive oil for a Korean brand?
Yes. We fill glass bottles or tins with your label and Korean back label, from a lot you approve on its SGS report. Send the bottle size and the volume per order.
