Why choose a Tunisian bulk supplier

Tunisia is the world's #2 olive oil producer and the best value for money at equivalent extra virgin quality. It's no coincidence that Spain re-exports Tunisian oil and that Italy bottles it under its own brands.

  • Lowest entry price — from ~€3.80/kg FOB in bulk extra virgin, versus ~€4.10/kg for Spain and ~€6.50/kg for Italy. Detail on the price observatory.
  • Award-winning quality — Tunisian oils regularly recognized in international competitions; varieties with strong character (smooth Chemlali, pungent polyphenol-rich Chetoui).
  • Available volumes — the 2025/26 campaign is announced at a high level: enough to secure substantial volumes.
  • Mastered export — ONH approval, EU quota, documents and logistics (Radès/Sfax) managed end to end.

Our bulk offer: formats & quality

We deliver the oil in bulk in the sector's standard containers, with the category and profile you choose.

Container Capacity Ideal for
Flexitank ~22,000 L (1 per 20') Large volumes, lowest cost/ton
IBC (cubic container) 1,000 L (×20 per 20') Intermediate volumes, easy handling
Drums 200 / 216 L (×40 per 20') Small lots, sampling, trials

You choose the category (extra virgin, virgin), the variety or blend (Chemlali, Chetoui, Oueslati, and more), the profile (smoothness/pungency, polyphenols) and the incoterm. Useful benchmark: 1 L of oil ≈ 0.913 kg. See all available oils and the detail on extra virgin oil.

Reassurance: what you get with each order

Buying bulk internationally means locking down quality and compliance. Our commitments:

  • Per-batch COA — certificate of analysis from an IOC-approved laboratory (acidity, peroxide, K232/K270), delivered for each batch.
  • Reference sample — validated before ordering, it serves as a basis for comparison on arrival to prevent any dispute.
  • IOC/EU categories respected — extra virgin ≤ 0.80% acidity, peroxide ≤ 20: the stated category is the category delivered.
  • Complete export documents — proforma, invoice, packing list, B/L, certificate of origin (EUR.1 for the EU), COA.
  • Secure payment — deposit + balance against documents or a confirmed LC; no container without a firm order.

We never make a claim (organic, EFSA, category) without a valid certificate. No quality data is declared without a COA.

How a bulk order works

A clear process, from first contact to first shipment.

  1. Your need — you specify category, variety/blend, volume, container, incoterm and destination via the quote drawer.
  2. Dated quote + sample — we send a dated firm price and a reference sample with its COA.
  3. Validation — you validate the sensory profile and the terms (incoterm, payment, lead time).
  4. Contract & deposit — firm order, deposit, payment security (confirmed LC if needed).
  5. Production & batch COA — per-batch analysis, quality control, applicable certificates.
  6. Shipment — palletization/stuffing, export documents, tracking to the destination port.

To choose a supplier safely, see the "choosing your supplier" guide and the incoterms guide.

Bulk or private label?

Bulk maximizes volume and cash flow; private label yields a higher margin. Many buyers start in bulk then move to their own label.

  • Bulk — you bottle or resell; lowest cost/kg, historically lower margin (~4% in bulk).
  • Private label (OEM) — we pack under your own label; far higher target margin (~30% on packed). See private label.

You can start in bulk and move to private label with the same supplier.

Frequently asked questions

What is the price of bulk olive oil?

At origin, in extra virgin, expect from ~€3.80/kg FOB for Tunisia, excluding freight, duties and VAT. The price varies with the harvest, category, organic status and incoterm. For a firm price, request a dated quote.

What is the minimum volume to order in bulk?

The usual MOQs are 1 flexitank (~22,000 L), 2 IBCs or 10 drums, depending on the container. We adapt to your project; specify your target volume in the form.

Do you deliver in flexitank, IBC or drums?

Yes, all three. The flexitank offers the lowest cost/ton for large volumes; IBCs suit intermediate volumes; drums suit small lots and trials.

Do you provide a COA for each batch?

Yes. Each batch is delivered with its certificate of analysis (COA) from an IOC-approved laboratory: acidity, peroxide value, K232/K270. A reference sample is validated before ordering.

What category of oil do you offer?

Mainly extra virgin (acidity ≤ 0.80%, peroxide ≤ 20, defects = 0) and virgin. We strictly respect the IOC/EU categories: the stated category is the one delivered, backed by the COA.

Can I get a sample before ordering?

Yes, with its COA. It becomes your reference sample to compare the quality with each delivered batch and prevent any dispute on arrival.

Under which incoterm do you sell?

The standard for a first export is FOB (goods loaded at Radès/Sfax). We also offer CFR/CIF (delivered-port price) and EXW. See the incoterms guide.

How do you secure payment?

Through a deposit + balance against documents or a confirmed letter of credit (LC). No container is shipped without a firm order and secure payment — in your interest as much as ours.

Do you offer organic olive oil in bulk?

Yes, certified organic (Ecocert / EU Organic 2018/848, USDA NOP for the USA). Organic is negotiated with a premium over conventional. Specify it in your quote request.

What are the lead times for a bulk order?

The lead time depends on campaign availability, the container and the destination. Securing a slot early in the campaign (and the EU quota if applicable) reduces lead times. We confirm a precise lead time in the quote.

Can you export to my country?

We export to the EU, USA, Gulf, Canada and other markets, with the appropriate documents and certifications (EU EUR.1, GAFTA Arab certificate of origin, US FDA/FSMA, and more). State your destination in the form.

Can I move to private label afterwards?

Yes. You can start in bulk then move to your own label (OEM) with the same supplier. See private label.

Have your oils won awards?

Tunisian oils regularly feature in the rankings of international competitions. We publish no unverifiable award or distinction: the certificates and COAs are the proof.
