Accessibility statement

Our commitment

STE AKFER TUNISIA, publisher of the Zitouna Export site, is committed to making its site accessible to as many people as possible, including people with disabilities. We consider digital accessibility to be an essential component of quality and of equal access to information.

Our objective is to reach and maintain a level of AA conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1), the international reference standard for web accessibility.

State of conformance

The site has not yet undergone a full accessibility audit. No level of conformance is therefore asserted to date: WCAG 2.1 level AA is a target, not a measured result.

This section will be updated as soon as an evaluation has been carried out, stating the method used, the date and the result.

Measures taken in favour of accessibility

In the design of the site, we endeavour to follow the good practices below:

  • Semantic structure: hierarchical headings, navigation landmarks and appropriate markup;
  • Contrast: text/background colours aiming for sufficient contrast;
  • Text alternatives: descriptive alt attributes for images carrying information;
  • Keyboard navigation: browsing of links, buttons and forms without a mouse;
  • Forms: labelled fields and explicit error messages;
  • Readable content: declared page language (French, English, Spanish, Arabic with right-to-left reading direction), clear and resizable texts;
  • Compatibility: site designed to work with common assistive technologies (screen readers).

Content that may not be fully accessible

In the absence of an audit, we identify the following points of vigilance:

  • downloadable documents (guides and resources in PDF), whose accessibility has not been verified;
  • dense comparison tables and interactive tools (simulators, comparators), whose keyboard and screen-reader use has not been validated;
  • content provided by third parties integrated into the site.

We endeavour to correct these limitations as part of a continuous improvement approach.

Technologies used

The accessibility of the site relies on the following technologies: HTML, CSS and JavaScript. The site aims for compatibility with recent browsers and the main assistive technologies.

This statement was drawn up in August 2026, on the basis of a self-assessment of design practices, without an external audit. It will be updated following an accessibility audit and at each significant change to the site.
