Module details

Module 1 — Global market & buyers

Understand where and to whom to sell. An overview of importing countries and the structure of demand, then a typology of partners: agent/broker (commission), importer/distributor, packer/bottler, purchasing group, retail/PL, HORECA. You learn to tailor your pitch to each type of buyer.

Module 2 — Quality & standards

The technical foundation. Commercial categories (extra virgin, virgin, lampante) according to IOC/EU standards, key parameters (free acidity, peroxide value, K232/K270), the role of the sensory panel and the COA (per-batch certificate of analysis, IOC-approved laboratory). You also discover the EFSA health claim linked to polyphenols, a major B2B selling point.

Module 3 — Regulation & certifications

Choose the right certifications for your market and channel. HACCP, FDA/FSMA (USA), organic (EU 2018/848, USDA NOP, Ecocert), IFS Food / BRCGS (near-mandatory for large retail), kosher, halal. Focus on labeling adapted to each market — a labeling error can hold a shipment at customs.

Module 4 — Customs & trade agreements

Master the import taxation of your target market. Tariff heading (HS 1509), EU quota (reduced-duty tariff quota), preferential agreements by bloc (EU, GAFTA/Gulf, others). You learn to verify the actual customs duty and VAT before any quotation.

Module 5 — Transport & packaging

Choose the right packaging and the right incoterm. Bulk (flexitank ~22,000 L, IBC, drums, tank) or packed (Marasca/Dorica bottles, metal cans, PET), container stuffing, freight and insurance. Useful density: 1 L of oil ≈ 0.913 kg.

Module 6 — Export documents

Assemble a complete, error-free documentary file. Proforma then commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading (B/L), certificate of origin / EUR.1, COA. You leave with real templates ready to customize. See also the export documents guide.

Module 7 — Tunisian export procedure

The step-by-step approach in Tunisia. Structure and ONH export approval, access to the EU quota via SICAD (file early, depleted each year), per-batch quality analysis, repatriation of proceeds, payment security (confirmed LC, credit insurance). Option: export under a partner's approval through a commission agreement.

Module 8 — Pricing & margins

Quote accurately and protect your margin. Cost breakdown (oil, analyses, transport, filtration losses), moving from EXW → FOB → CIF → delivered, and the chain margins (agent, importer, distributor, retailer). You use the site's simulators to calculate a price by incoterm live. A useful complement: the price observatory.

Module 9 — Building your brand

Move from bulk to brand (with a far higher target margin). Positioning, naming, visual identity, packaging, market-specific regulatory labeling, the private label / PL option, storytelling and trademark registration (INPI, EUIPO, WIPO). See also building your olive oil brand.

Module 10 — Prospecting & sales

Find buyers and close deals. Leading trade shows (SIAL, Gulfood, WOOE), targeted importer prospecting, building a commercial offer, handling samples (with COA) and negotiation. The goal: turn a contact into a firm, secured order.

Module 11 — Financing & support

An overview of support schemes for export and promotion (freight, prospecting, trade show participation). Eligibility and amounts vary and must be verified with the relevant bodies before any step: the training shows you where and how to verify.

Module 12 — Action plan

Build your personalized roadmap: priority market, product, incoterm, certifications to obtain, timeline. You leave with a concrete plan and lifetime access to the 20 tools and templates to execute it.

Frequently asked questions

Is the program fixed or personalized?

The 12 modules form the common core. Module 12 leads to a personalized roadmap for your project (market, product, brand), and the Q&A session lets you adapt the learning to your concrete case.

In what order should I follow the modules?

The proposed order (from the global market to the action plan) is progressive and recommended. Online, you're free to revisit any module at any time, since access is for life.

How long does it take to complete the program?

The in-person component has a duration set per session (schedule currently being planned). Online, you progress at your own pace: some finish in a few weeks, others come back as their project develops.

Is the "Building your brand" module enough to launch a product?

Module 9 covers positioning, packaging, regulatory labeling and trademark registration. Combined with the templates and tools (including the private label simulator), it gives you the complete method; implementation then depends on your project.

Are the document templates included in each module?

Yes, whenever relevant (Modules 6, 8 and 9 in particular). You receive real, reusable templates, not mere example screenshots.

Does the training teach how to calculate an export price?

Yes, that's the focus of Module 8: price calculation by incoterm (EXW, FOB, CIF), cost structure and margins. You use the site's simulators to practice with your own figures.

Does the program cover organic certifications?

Yes, in Module 3: EU organic 2018/848, USDA NOP, Ecocert, as well as IFS/BRC for large retail and market-specific certifications (kosher, halal, FDA/FSMA).

Is the EU quota covered concretely?

Yes. Module 4 (customs) and Module 7 (Tunisian procedure) explain the EU tariff quota and how to access it via SICAD, with the recommendation to file early since it is depleted each year.

Can I follow the program without exporting right away?

Absolutely. Many participants take the training ahead of their first export, to prepare their file, brand and action plan before they launch.

Is the program up to date with current standards?

The program is based on the IOC/EU standards and the ONH procedure in force. Numerical market data (prices, quotas, support schemes) is dated and to be re-verified at the source — the training teaches you precisely how to do that.

How much does access to this program cost?

The complete program (12 modules, materials, templates, lifetime access to the 20 tools, certificate) is included in the price of the training: 3,500 DT, all-inclusive.

How do I enroll?

Via the online enrollment form, or by requesting a WhatsApp callback. In-person seats are limited.
